Joe worked to remove a stand of bamboo in our yard and trimmed a redbud for us. The bamboo was behind that tree. If you know anything about bamboo, you know how difficult that is. Joe worked for 2 days to do this job, using machinery and hacking at the bamboo remnants with an ax. It's gone and covered with topsoil. The tree looks great too. Joe and the S.H. Tree Service Team did a beautiful job removing 2 very large invasive Norway Maples, from our historic East Ave property. The Rochester Preservation Board granted us permission provided we grind the stump, regrade, and reseed. We got 3 quotes, Joe’s quote was very reasonable, in the middle, but included everything! We were not in a hurry, so set a flexible date, and communicated with Joe and our tenants as we got closer to Oct 4-5th. Joe & his team’s work over 2 days was very considerate guests, tenants and neighbors, very safe, professional, sensitive to preserve the adjoining yard, and clean up was better than expected from typical typical contractors. Thank you to Joe and his crew for cutting down 6 large ash trees in my sons yard. I know they will be back for 4 more to go down but we had to split it up into two visits. They worked diligently and got them cut, chipped, and stumps were grinded as well. To top that all off, some top soil and seed went down after they were done. Joe was quick in responding to my call for a quote and came out the next week. Did a wonderful job cutting down 2 trees and a dead branch hanging over to the neighbors yard. I wanted to do the clean up and keep the wood so he piled it up neatly and when he did the stumps he raked the chips up too so they weren’t all over.
